Join ChemPartner’s US BD team as a Senior Director/Associate Director/Manager of Business Development in the US
Driven by an unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence, ChemPartner has experienced significant growth in the US and is now expanding its footprint. We are seeking 1-2 business development professionals at different levels to contribute to the success of our CRO operations and future strategic initiatives and ventures.
About the Role
As a Senior Director/Associate Director/Manager of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of ChemPartner’s CRO services in the US. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to generate new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and position ChemPartner as a preferred partner in the CRO industry.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US
- Collaborate closely with BD colleagues, technical teams, and senior management to establish large key accounts and strengthen ChemPartner’s market presence
- Achieve sales revenue targets for new and existing accounts, demonstrating exceptional deal-closing skills
- Manage and cultivate existing client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Utilize CRM effectively to track and manage an opportunity pipeline, providing critical insights for forecasting and decision-making
- Represent ChemPartner at industry meetings, conferences, and events, showcasing the company’s expertise and capabilities
- Provide regular status and activity updates to senior management, technical leaders, and global BD team members, ensuring transparency and accountability
- Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, identifying potential opportunities and threats
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science; PhD preferred
- Minimum of 5-15 years of relevant industry experience; sales experience, especially CRO BD experience, is highly desirable
- Proven track record of success in generating new business and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess business opportunities
- Strategic thinking ability with the ability to develop and implement effective business development plans
- Self-motivated, highly flexible, and collaborative with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $90,000 -$180,000 USD. In addition to the base salary, this position would be eligible for car allowance, commission plan, health/dental/vision/life/disability coverage, and 401(k) with employer match.
